ABOUT ME
This is my 16th year teaching in Columbia County with this being my 5th year teaching PE/Health at EHS. I spent 6 years teaching ELA at Evans Middle School. Prior to that, I taught PE/Health at Riverside Middle and then Columbia Middle. I am an avid sports fan and love coaching. I am currently coaching Girls' Lacrosse here at EHS.
I was born and raised in Augusta, GA. My family moved to the Evans area during my sophomore year of high school and I graduated from Evans High School in 1989. After high school, I attended USC-Aiken for one year. While there I ran cross-country and played softball. Later in my life, I returned to college and graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2003 with degrees in Religion and Kinesiology, and a minor in Secondary Education. I earned a Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Thomas University and an Educational Specialist Degree in Advanced Education Studies from Augusta University.
My youngest daughter, Reese, is a 2022 graduate of Evans High School and currently plays softball at Winthrop University. My youngest son, Parker, graduated from EHS in 2020 and is pursuing a business degree from Augusta University (UGA 2020 - 2022). For those of you that frequently visit Chick-Fil-A, you may see him there. He is a manager at the Mullins Crossing location. In addition, I have two grown sons, William and Andrew Rabb. William lives here in Martinez and Andrew lives in VA. I also have two grandchildren, Novelee and Eric.
Something unique about me is that I'd like to attend a baseball game at every major league baseball stadium, so each year I try to go to one or two different stadiums. So far my favorite stadium is the Cardinals stadium. In addition to traveling, I love spending time with my kids and my grandkids. When I'm not in the classroom you will most likely find me on a ball field or a court. I love all things sports and coffee. I also love camping and spending time at the lake.
