Grading Policy
70% - Summative Assessments (formal writing, projects, tests, presentations, etc.)
30% - Formative Assessments (practice writing, quizzes, classwork, homework, etc.)
Grades are now on a semester schedule rather than 9 week schedule; final grades will post at the end of the first semester and the end of the second semester with progress reports available throughout the term.
Reassessment Policy
Updated Reassessment Guidelines:
Students may request one reassessment per summative assessment.
Students who score above 90 are not eligible for reassessment.
A grade of 90 is the highest score a student may receive on a reassessment.
This policy was updated district-wide as of the 2023-2024 school year.
