Brief Summary:
Tutoring is by appointment only. Students must come ready with specific questions and no blank worksheets. I am available Tuesday and Thursday morning from 6:45-7:25 am or Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 2:45-3:30.
I will replace Quiz grades with Test grades if the Test is higher (and if the Quiz standards were covered on the Test). I may take up notes randomly throughout the semester to check if students are staying on task and count this as a daily grade. On Mini Assessments (or Tickets), I allow students to use their notes and homework/classwork, if they take good notes and follow along during instructional time then they will excel on the mini assessment.
Reassessment policy: Students are allowed to reassess once per summative grades. The highest grade on a reassessment is a 90. The requirements are signed contracts (which will be handed out after Tests), one-on-one discussing their Tests, and completed notes/worksheets/classwork/homework/review. Failure to meet any of these requirements, students will not be permitted to take the reassessment.
