Notes on Midsegments

This video shows the relationship between the midsegment (which is a segment that connects the midpoint of 2 of the 3 sides of a triangle. The midsegment is parallel to 1 of the 3 sides and is 1/2 the length of the side that it is parallel to.

Today we focused on angles created with parallel lines.

Today we will explore the relationship created by a line intersecting a set of parallel lines.

Students today worked on their checkpoints. This is an assignment that allows me to see what kids have gained in their understanding of Angle and Segment relationships. If you missed this assignment you will need to make an appointment with me to take this.
